To our dedicated participants and supporters,
Although the current state of reopening in the province is a positive one, we are still not in a situation where all restrictions have been lifted. In consultation with Halton Regional Health and the Town of Oakville, we have made the difficult decision not to proceed with a live Oakville Half Marathon event this year. Given the current unstable environment around COVID it is with the best interests of our participants and the public that has guided our decision.
The 2021 Oakville Half Marathon will be a virtual experience. All those currently registered will be contacted directly with details. Registration remains open for anyone wishing to participate virtually. Registration will close September 13th at midnight.
